Study Island Information for Parents

Harborview has purchased a building license for a great resource called Study Island. Study Island is a web-based program that helps prepare students for Standards Based Testing and Measures of Academic Progress Testing in grades K-6.

Study Island is accessible from school, home, library any location that has an Internet connection. This is a great tool to use with your child throughout the year to review reading, writing and math lessons and play fun games including during summer months!

We are excited about the benefits that Study Island can bring to our students and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity by using Study Island. 

All students have their own usernames and passwords to log into their Study Island accounts. We will be sending home index cards with student logins before winter break. The website is:

There are many tools that you can use within the Study Island program that will help you to assist your child in the areas of Math, Reading and/or Writing.  The resources below will be helpful in running & understanding performance reports, printing out practice worksheets, and they also include tips on how to help your child increase his or her scores. For more information, user accounts or problems access your child's records please contact your child's classroom teacher.
